Trailers were designed using the
latest 3D modelling and finite element analysis tools to ensure design strength and weight were optimized.

A
key innovation was the development of Bikelugs unique V-shaped
folding trailer beam, this triangulated structure permits extrodinary
strength with low weight, the design also ensures a motorcycle wheel of any size will self-center in the V.

While trailer manufacturers usually use commercial grade 'building'
materials we use high strength low alloy
steel. Our HSLA
steel is more than double the strength of most
commercial grade steels further improving strength without increasing
weight. HSLA steel also has the added benefit of enhanced corrosion
resistance.
Laser
cutting HSLA steel
We
laser
cut our parts for maximum precision and fold them using computer controlled presses to
maximise consistency, quality and reliability. Welding and inspection
are done by
hand before the parts are powder coated to provide an attractive and
robust finish.
No
